Meet the Owners

Jerry Elston, Sr. - Founder, CEO Retired

Through diligence and hard work, Jerry has fostered B.A.K.E.'s growth from a small organization running out of a small storage facility to our current location in our 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse. When not at the office, Jerry enjoys traveling the country with his wife, Rose. 

David Elston - President

David has been in the bakery equipment business for most of his life, having started the company with his dad in 1981. Dave is a "hands-on" owner, traveling all over the country to perform equipment installations and provide customer service. When he's able to pull himself away from work, Dave enjoys spending time with his daughter.

In Loving Memory -- Patrick Caderas - Sales

Whether it was cleaning, installation or sales...Patrick did it all. Our longest tenured employee, Patrick was with B.A.K.E.from 1992 until 2019, when a brain tumor quickly and tragically took his life. Patrick had gained a wealth of knowledge throughout the years, and most of our longtime customers will remember his helpfulness and friendly smile. When not helping our customers, Patrick enjoyed lifting weights and spending time with his best friend Buddy and his family.
